What is Lumaroom | medical?
Lumaroom | medical is composed of an illuminated wall or ceiling image with a custom design and a surrounding workplace light, which can be controlled separately for switching and dimming. This technology is unique and makes Lumaroom | medical the only decorative wall and ceiling lights approved by ASR in all of Germany.
For your individual practice atmosphere, you can choosethe appropriate design from our design gallery, or you can commission us for a custom design search. Whether it's a tree canopy, a bright blue sky, or an underwater world, with the right design, you can relieve tension and stress in your patients and instead provide relaxation with an incomparable feeling of well-being in the treatment chair.

Workplace Regulations
The Workplace Regulations (Arbeitsstättenregeln - ASR) determine, among other things, minimum values for the lighting of workplaces, including medical practices and therapy facilities. The regulations ensure that the safety and health of employees are not endangered. The Lumaroom | medical meet all the requirements and are a must-have for every practice.
For example, ASR A3.4 specifies the minimum values for lighting levels. The average lighting level in treatment rooms must be at least 500 lx, while waiting rooms must have at least 300 lx.
ASR A3.4 also regulates the minimum values for color rendering index (CRI). A CRI of 80 or higher is required for all medical facilities. This is particularly important in dental treatments, where even slight differences in color must be detected. The color of the lights used should closely mimic natural daylight. LED recessed ceiling and wall lights are particularly suitable for simulating daylight and creating a natural atmosphere.
