A beautiful view upwards and finally no more echo. Four-part acoustic ceiling sail for tax consultants MEF & Partner mbB in Niebüll.

The tax consultancy MEF & Partner mbB, with 3 locations on the Schleswig-Holstein West Coast and 90 employees, is one of the most significant companies in this sector in the north. The conference room had too much echo, making meetings in a pleasant atmosphere nearly impossible. 

The goal was to create an optimal room acoustics with acoustical elements suspended from the slanted ceilings, which would aesthetically blend into the overall room concept and the existing lighting installations. For this purpose, a square made up of 4 individual acoustic ceiling sails was developed. 

The four-part overall motif offers a view into the sky guided by treetops, creating a pleasant, feel-good atmosphere. The echo effects and sound emissions could be greatly reduced by the sound-absorbing ceiling sails, and the improved room acoustics now enable much better communication in the conference room.
