Room-filling 35 sqm light ceiling with individually adjustable LEDs in an indoor beer garden as an extension of a real chestnut trunk
The dining hall of the family-run hotel restaurant Tanneck in Fischen, Allgäu, was to be designed in a rustic-traditional ambiance, but with a modern interpretation. Alongside an original copper brewing kettle, a real chestnut trunk, specially treated afterwards, forms the centerpiece of the restaurant.
The continuation of this chestnut tree is impressively represented by the leaf crown of the light ceiling created in large-format printing, creating an inviting beer garden atmosphere.
As a special highlight, the LEDs are programmed so that the color change of the light ceiling creates the impression that the color of the leaves changes with the seasons. And this happens on an hourly basis. All these elements work together to create a unique ambiance that invites guests to linger and relax.
